![]() Today’s post will not only include a review on these gorgeous lipsticks, but also lip AND arm swatches of each shade. The shades I purchased and will be reviewing in this post are: Another reason why I wanted to buy half is so I can play around with the formula and get used to wearing bullet lipsticks again, since my Limecrime Unicorn Lipsticks and my Winky Lux lipsticks have remained very untouched! I decided on not getting them all straight away as I thought splitting this review in half would make it easier to read compared to reviewing 25 different lipsticks all in one post. On initial release I purchased 13 shades, which I will talk about a bit more shortly. From memory, Getty was the first to be sold out, which sold out in less than an hour since its release.Įach bullet retails for $7 USD, with 3.5 grams (or 0.12 oz) of product, which is such great value! There are 24 shades available (plus the very limited shade “Pinkies Up”), ranging from neutral everyday colours to bold and extremely fun shades. The vault sold out in minutes, and shades soon followed. Though I’m more of a liquid lipstick girl, I needed to know whether these were worth the hype, and quite frankly, I was very excited! This release (dare I say) is probably the most successful release since the “Yes Please” palette. To say these were highly anticipated would be an understatement! From the moment these beauties were announced, Lux Lipsticks were all over my Instagram feed, and it’s hard not to know why these lipsticks look gorgeous! The packaging is a very on-trend rose gold, with little stars embossed onto the bullet itself. The formula is comfortable, fully packed with pigments and last almost all day and that combined with the fact that they’re vegan and cruelty-free, I’d say get it before you regret it.Hi guys! I’m going to be honest this post wasn’t meant to actually happen today, as I was going to review the “Give It To Me Straight” palette, but of course, my parcel has temporarily disappeared (thanks Australia Post!), so it looks like the latest addition to the Colourpop family is this week’s focus!įor those who don’t know, Colourpop recently released traditional bullet lipsticks, called “Lux Lipsticks”. The Colourpop lippie stix are a must-have in every woman’s vanity and I’m not exaggerating. You can check out my review of Colourpop Frick N’ Frack lipstick from the same range. ![]() I really enjoy the longevity of Colourpop’s Ultra Satin liquid lipsticks, they are comfortable to wear and even after fading the tint they leave behind is very strong. As the hours go by, they do start to settle into the lip lines. With oily food, they start to disappear from the centre of the lips. The lippie stix stay easily last around 6-ish hours and can survive lighter meals. OR use creme-finish lipsticks! Staying Power I don’t use any lip balm underneath and it works well for me but if you have very dry lips I’d recommend exfoliating them and put some lip balm. Over time it will settle into the lip lines, especially Kapish, but it won’t feel even one bit drying. They do transfer a little but it won’t bother you much. In fact, they apply so smoothly and give high pigment in one swipe that I AM A FAN! I have never come across a proper matte formula that’s as comfortable as Kapish. Lumiere with a face not too full of makeup! I love them dearly and I don’t know what I’d do without them in my vanity. ![]() The Lippe Stix held the #1 spot in my wishlist and rightfully so. And I was so impressed that I couldn’t help but place a huge order on their website to try out other products. There, I said it! My first ever eyeshadow palette was the Colourpop Yes Please Eyeshadow Palette. If you multiply, it’d make lippie stix priced similar to medium to high-end brands’ lipsticks.Īvailability: You can buy these from Colourpop’s website. Price: $6 for 1.0g (0.035oz) The quantity offered is quite less as compared to standard lipsticks where you get around 4g. Get one swipe pigmentation in a full-coverage, matte/ ultra-matte finish in a super comfortable formula loaded with skin-loving ingredients like shea butter and Vitamin E. Their formula has my heart and I thought it’s mandatory for me to share these amazing lipsticks with you so you can also experience some lipstick-nirvana with me! Product Description This is what happened when I bought the Colourpop Lippie Stix in the shades Kapish and Lumiere. Have you ever come across some lipsticks that just blew your mind? Something that ticks all the boxes from comfort to longevity or the beautiful shade choices?
